‘Blue Bloods’ Fans, Get Ready For Some Disappointing Season 13 News

Blue Bloods fans are a very loyal bunch, with viewers planning their Friday nights around the CBS police drama. Season 13 has been filled with stops and starts. Now 15 episodes into the season, the show is once again going on hiatus. But this time, the reason is clear.

CBS is home to Blue Bloods, and it also carries the NCAA Tournament basketball games. If you tune in this week, you’ll see Montana State taking on Kansas State instead of the Reagan family sharing their Sunday dinner. Because of the basketball schedule, we don’t expect Blue Bloods to return to its normal time slot until the Friday night games of March Madness are over. The next new episode would air on March 31 at the earliest.

Last week’s episode, “Close to Home,” saw the return of guest star Lyle Lovett, and an upcoming episode will feature a mini-Magnum PI reunion for Tom Selleck and Larry Manetti.

CBS has not yet renewed Blue Bloods for season 14. Season 13 was renewed last April, so we expect an announcement about the show’s future soon. All episodes are available to stream on Paramount+.
