Trina was suspicious after hearing his phone talk with Victor. She then decided to follow Spencer, which brought her to the Haunted Star.

General Hospital spoilers and previews indicate that Trina’s mom curses the day Spencer entered her daughter’s life. Additionally, she doesn’t keep her feelings to herself in that regard. Portia makes it abundantly clear that she blames Trina’s involvement with Spencer for the life threatening predicament that she’s in now.

Currently, the mother-daughter duo’s relationship is on the rocks. Trina feels betrayed by Portia’s paternity secret. Sadly, they weren’t on the best of terms when tragedy struck, and now Trina’s life is threatened by a madman. While General Hospital rumors tease a happy reunion, Portia drives Trina away.
