Filming will take place in Oahu, Hawaii, on Jan. 26 for talent playing businessmen, Feb. 2 for talent playing protestors, and dates TBD for stand-ins. Pay is $112–$208 for one day of work.

“Grinners”

Casting is underway for “Grinners,” an upcoming Refinery Films short film project. Actors and models, aged 14–80, are wanted for various roles, including the lead role of Detective Donovan, a laid-back former beat cop who has been overwhelmed by the presence of a serial killer in his town. Filming will take place during the first two weeks of June in Mount Carroll, Illinois. Pay is $250 per day for up to four days of work with craft services and Airbnb accommodations provided.

“The Philosophy of Dress”

Join “The Philosophy of Dress,” a feature-length satire about fashion designers in New York City. Four actors, aged 16–75, are wanted for roles in the film, including the lead role of Marie. Rehearsals will begin on April 5, followed by filming beginning on April 12 in NYC. Pay is $240 per day for up to five days of work.

“Compliance”

Crisis Actor Films is seeking talent for “Compliance,” a found-footage horror film delving into the world of political conspiracy and dark web crime. Actors, aged 18–60, are wanted for various roles in the film, including the starring role of Sam. Rehearsals and filming will take place this summer in Los Angeles and Chicago. Pay is $100–$215 per day for up to 14 days of work, with meals and travel/lodging for out-of-town shoots provided.
