The soap opera star celebrates her nomination for Guest Performer in a Drama Series at the upcoming 50th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on Thursday, April 27, 2023. She spoke with Michael Fairman on his Daytime Emmy Nominations Special during the occasion, and she revealed that she will be returning to GH as Heather Webber.

She even joked about sipping Mai Tais with Anthony Hopkins on some island far away. If you are wondering what to expect from Heather’s return to Port Charles, Mills refused to share some details.

She said, “I don’t know what the story is going to be.” Fans will have to watch and see. Mills went on to express her excitement about her nomination, saying that despite all her years on TV, this was her first being nominated or even considered. The 73-year-old described it as a “cool end-of-life thing.”

During her last appearance on the show, things were heating up for Heather. She was taken to her daughter, Esme’s hospital room, and she was really happy to see her grandchild.

Esme’s biological mother was carried out of the hospital ward in handcuffs after she told Esme she would never look at him. Heather attacked Laura and Spencer as soon as she emerged. The mayor of PC, according to her, lied to Esme and put the blame for everything that went wrong on her.

Before she was taken to prison, she promised that it was not over yet. There is also the chilling letter that Esme received from her Heather, that left her terrified. Heather is definiely bringing some drama back to Port Charles.
