Leaked General Hospital spoilers Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), the lawyer for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), will soon meet with him. Concerning Cody’s legal battle with the WSB, they have a lot to talk about. The ice Princess necklace appears to have been destroyed as a result of the clandestine plan to persuade Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) that the necklace was destroyed in a fire.
Rumor has it Scott is on his way out of town though and won’t be able to carry this case to court. Who is going to be able to fill in for him at the last minute?
Scott Baldwin Circles Back With Bad News
The departure of Kin Shriner from GH is well known. This was confirmed by him to Soap Opera Digest last month. However, the actor is still appearing on screen, and we are unsure of the date of his final performance. Fans of Scott, don’t worry. Although this has happened before, his contract wasn’t renewed. He won’t have a storyline for a while, but his departure doesn’t imply it’s permanent. This might require Cody’s case to be settled before it ever begins.
Indicate Cody Bell Is Left Scrambling
Cody will be confused by not having a lawyer to defend him in this lawsuit. Additionally, Scott was the ideal candidate to manage this situation. He has a wealth of knowledge about the WSB and every player in the scheme that destroyed Cody’s inheritance. Who will Cody be able to hire now that they have the same level of WSB experience?
Will Jackson Montgomery Come To Cody Bell’s Rescue?
It’s possible that Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey) could come to Cody‘s rescue and pick things up where Scott leaves off. Walt Willey also confirmed to SOD that he would hit the screen in Port Charles during the middle of July. Could he come in as a favor to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)? She must be salivating over the idea of the WSB being exposed and destroyed after the way they kicked her to the curb on the heels of Victor exposing her to the world as a double agent. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to find out where things stand for Cody and whether Jackson will play a role in seeing to it that he is fairly compensated for the necklace that never belonged to him.
