General Hospital rumors indicate that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) expressed his concern regarding Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) potential legal concerns.
While Kelly Monaco’s Sam McCall attempted to soothe the audience by emphasizing Sonny’s talent for getting out of tight circumstances, Dante highlighted the fact that Sonny was without a crucial ally in the form of Jason this time around.
The fact that Jason had been brought up served as a reminder of how much Sonny relied on him to avoid punishment and continue his illicit enterprise.
Sam was aware that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Sonny’s friends were on Sonny’s side, but his recent behavior made clear how far behind Jason Morgan Dex was.
Dex himself acknowledged that he ought to have burned the fragments of the broken flash drive that formerly belonged to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) when he was charged with eradicating them totally.
When it came to what should have been done, Dex’s future actions were very different. He made the critical error of choosing to discard those pieces in a public trash can, making him vulnerable to possible observation.
Because of this oversight in judgment, federal investigators had the chance to recover the shards, which may have given them the chance to use their technology to find potentially damaging evidence. There’s a good chance Jason would have never made such a grave error.
Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) Cannot Measure Up To Jason Morgan (Steve Burton)
Given that he assisted Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) in a previous dumpster dive to collect Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) jewels, Dex ought to be aware of how easily valuables may be recovered from the trash. Dex’s significant failure, at least up to this point, serves as an arresting example of his incapacity as Jason Morgan’s replacement.
Dex still has an opportunity to learn Sonny’s techniques and identify his mistakes. To be successful, he must enhance his performance and fix his weaknesses. It is obvious at this point that Dex is ineffective.
However, it is crucial to point out that Sonny’s present legal situation is most likely not primarily the result of Dex’s botched effort to destroy the flash drive.
The idea that it has anything to do with manufactured evidence that was shown to Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) and then ended up in the possession of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) seems more likely.
In reality, it seems as though Sonny is putting his enemy Cyrus on display in order to clear his identity. However, there are good reasons to doubt Dex’s ability to ever equal Jason’s level of proficiency in life-or-death circumstances given his failure in judgment in this specific case.
