General Hospital Spoilers: Mother’s Day Tribute To The Best Moms In Port Charles

Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 14, and children everywhere will be showing moms how much they are loved. However, there are plenty of other mothers in daytime drama who deserve acclaim. Here are three exceptional General Hospital (GH) mothers who live in Port Charles.

General Hospital Spoilers – Maxie Jones’s Sacrifices For Her Kids

Moms who are single are heroes, right? The same may be said of Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms), a single mother of three children in Port Chuckles who works full-time. However, when Jones discovered that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) wasn’t the person she had assumed him to be, she went into severe mother bear mode. When things got tough, she offered herself up as Peter’s hostage, pleading for them to leave Bailey-Lu in Port Charles and start a new life together outside of the small town. She did this by not only pretending that Bailey Jones (London and Jett Prinzo-Beredt) was not hers and wasting valuable “baby time” away from her infant child. Talk about putting forth extra effort to keep your kids safe!

General Hospital Spoilers – Willow Corinthos Places Her Life On The Line

In her own right, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), who lives across the town, is a mommy hero. She married Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to keep the youngster away from Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), despite the fact that she was in love with another man, since she was so passionately protective of Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), despite not being his real mother.

She, Michael, and Wiley would ultimately start a genuine family, but Amelia Corinthos (Owen and Nathan Ford) would complete the family. Sadly, Willow learned she had leukemia around the same time she found out she was expecting a child and declined treatment because she didn’t want to endanger her unborn child.

General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins Is An Amazing Mom & Grandmother, Too!
Given her personal circumstances, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has done an amazing job raising her three children. She has always made an effort to assist Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan).

But she has been a good grandmother to her grandchildren, always giving them a place to stay in her home whether their parents are away, thought to be dead, or just away on a trip. She has more specifically been a mother figure for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), whose mother tragically left before he was even born. No one is more trustworthy than Laura, who manages to travel to Greenland in her spare time to save the globe while also holding down the arduous position of town mayor.
