General Hospital Spoilers: Shocking Surprises This Thanksgiving

A special guest joins the Qs for Thanksgiving — can she help them avoid disaster?

General Hospital’s Thanksgiving spoilers for November 23, 2023, seem low-key, filled with surprise appearances, gentle confrontations, and awkward conversations. However, don’t count out a little drama or disaster to spice up the holiday celebration.

General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

It’s Thanksgiving in Port Charles, and, of course, the Quartermaines are celebrating the only way they know how. What’s different this year: 1) Lois (Rena Sofer) is around, which is a beautiful thing, and 2) Because Lois is around, her mother, one Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta), is coming for a Thanksgiving visit.

Can Gloria help the Qs put a delicious turkey on the table and prevent a pizza delivery? The family seems destined to eat pizza every year over a more traditional feast. Or will the tense dynamics among the family members cause an implosion of epic proportions?

For example, Ned’s (Wally Kurth) not happy keeping his mouth shut about his SEC whistleblower innocence. Will this be the day the truth erupts? How about the battle for ELQ? Can Ned, Michael (Chad Duell), and Drew (Cameron Mathison) keep that on simmer for the holiday? Will Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) stop by to see Willow (Katelynn MacMullen)? Someone may need to hide the fancy (and highly breakable) dishes.

Thanksgiving: Full of Surprises

Next, Robert (Robert Scorpio) has a surprise for Anna (Finola Hughes). The ex-spy has been through it as of late, so this surprise better be healing, soul-restoring, and cause an extreme amount of joy. After all, it’s what she deserves. In the weekly preview, she opens the door to someone or something. Here’s to hoping it’s a much-needed visit from her daughter Robin (Kimberly McCullough) and/or her granddaughter Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer).

Meanwhile, Anna’s ex, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), is still dealing with Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). Teasers say he’s “gently confronting” his daughter, which doesn’t sound like a fun Thanksgiving party, does it? Having said that, he needs to get to the bottom of what’s going on with her. She recently insisted to Nina she didn’t set fire to Anna’s house. Is that the story she’s still going with? Only time will tell.

Dating Drama

Turkey Day is a day for food, fun, family, friends, and awkward conversations? Awkward is the key word when it comes to Sasha (Sofia Mattson) and Cody (Josh Kelly). The two have admitted they have feelings for each other, but Sasha’s not ready for more. And now they’re working together as the Faces of Deception with their “off the charts” chemistry, according to Maxie (Kirsten Storms). On Thanksgiving, the two are asked if they’re dating. As a result, it’s possible a lot of hemming and hawing will ensue, as well as searching for the perfect answer.

Finally, there’s no hemming and hawing for Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez). She’s clearly into Kristina (Kate Mansi). After all, she invited her to the studio to watch her make beautiful music. Now it’s Kristina’s turn to do the inviting. She requests the singer’s presence at Alexis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) for Thanksgiving dinner. While there’s much potential for entertainment as well as awkwardness, nothing will go wrong. Right?
