Jonathan Jackson was born on May 11, 1982, in Orlando, Florida. It was during a family trip to Universal Studios Hollywood that inspired the actor and his big brother, Richard Lee realized that they wanted to chose a career in acting.

Soon after learning the crafts, Jackson started booking commercials, and just six months into his new venture, the got the offer to play Lucky Spencer, the son of Luke and Laura Spencer on ‘General Hospital’. The actor, 41, made his ‘General Hospital’ debut on October 29, 1993, and his initial tenure lasteduntil May 1999.
Jackson played his part in the feature films Camp Nowhere and The Deep End of the Ocean, concurrently with his General Hospital stints. He also starred in the made-for-TV movies Prisoner of Zenda, Inc and The Legend of the Ruby Silver, and an episode of Boy Meets World.
After leaving daytime television, Jackson went on to appear in such movies as True Rights, Havana Nights, Dirty Dancing, Tuck Everlasting, Riding the Bullet, and the theatrical edition of Tuck Everlasting. He also appeared in the television movie Trapped in a Purple Haze.
A recurrent part in the science fiction series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is also among his TV appearances. Jackson returned to GH between October 2009 until December 2011 to reprise his Lucky Spencer role.
