We haven’t forgotten about this tough cookie’s absence during Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) health issue, even if she has been preoccupied with her new job as Acting Mayor.
Therefore, it comes as a surprise to us to learn that she will soon return to the scene to assist Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Will Jordan use her new government title to protect Anna from harm or to help her BFF track down that sniper on the loose?
Either way, we can’t wait to see Jordan back in action; we just hope getting tangled up in Anna’s mess doesn’t implicate her as she crosses paths with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Anna Devane Could Be In Danger
The Metro Court pool shooting is just one illustration of Port Charles’ risky way of life. Risk is nothing new to this community.
Curtis might have been unintentionally hit by a ricochet gunshot, but it’s still unclear who the real target was. Sonny, who is frequently targeted in assassination attempts, is understandably worried that he might have been the target.
Anna has a good reason to believe that the shooter targeted her directly, though. Could it be a WSB employee?
Maybe an old foe looking for revenge? Perhaps the Bureau could have sent someone to finish her off after the truth about her past came out and maimed the entire organization?
Squeal Jordan Ashford Dips Her Toes In Sonny Corinthos’s Territory
Jordan may not be serving in her customary capacity as Police Commissioner while Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is away from the city, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t worried about the security of her community.
Jordan is even more determined to uncover the shooter now that Curtis is paralyzed and Anna is a target due to the shooting. Since no one messes with Jordan’s family, Anna is undoubtedly her best friend.
Jordan is not one to tolerate wrongdoing, therefore the offender had better be on their guard. However, that does not imply that she will shield just anyone.
When she realizes Sonny is just as wrapped up in this situation as Anna is, she’ll have to contend with whether her bestie is important enough to her to risk getting messy with the mob.
Dante Falconeri Is On Board
So, it appears that Jordan is prepared to enter the realm of espionage. She intends to take advantage of the sniper situation by acting like James Bond because to her purported links to the WSB.
But this isn’t your typical hitman, let’s face it. Even Dominic Zamprogna’s Dante Falconeri is being entangled in the web of this unknown shooter. What does this entail specifically for him and Jordan?
Will they both put their jobs in jeopardy to protect Anna? Jordan’s involvement may jeopardize the integrity of our wonderful detective, which is something Dante would prefer to avoid considering his own murky past with the WSB.
Nevertheless, he is willing to take a chance with everything, and many viewers wonder if this is because he is aware that his father may also be in danger.
