According to General Hospital spoilers, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) has received some food for thought from Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Will he respond as she believes he will?
Tumultuous Relationship
Since they started dating, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer Cassadine have faced numerous challenges. Victor Cassadine, Spencer’s great-great uncle (Charles Shaughnessy), even put Trina’s life in peril when he devised a scheme to “save the world” and bring the family together. He developed a scheme for using biological weapons.
Spencer was taken prisoner by Victor, and Trina had to help free him. It was terrifying because her life was in danger. Their lives were further complicated upon their return to Port Charles by Spencer’s ex-girlfriend Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
Esme got pregnant by Spencer’s father, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss). She gave birth to Ace Prince-Cassadine (Jay & Joey Clay), who is Spencer’s half-brother.
Since Nikolas has disappeared, Spencer has stepped up to help Esme raise Ace. What makes it challenging for Trina is that Esme and Spencer have moved in together just to care for Ace. This makes the situation awkward for Spencer and Trina.
Portia’s Concern
Trina’s mother, Portia Robinson, truly wants Spencer to reflect on his friendship with Trina. She enquired as to whether Spencer’s friendship with Trina improves his quality of life. He responded with sympathy that it does. She then inquired as to whether or if his friendship with Trina improves her life.
Trina’s safety in this connection is a concern for Portia. Esme’s strong participation with the problem is bad for Spencer and Trina’s relationship, even though it is fantastic that Spencer has such worry for his brother and parenting him. Spencer is advised by Portia to end their relationship if he truly cares for Trina.
Something to Think About
Spencer appears to be considering this because he asks Trina if he has improved or worsened her quality of life. She acknowledges that it has been challenging, but they both decide that they want to face challenging times together. Esme’s continued meddling in Spencer’s relationship with Trina is yet to be seen.
How do you feel? Are Spencer and Esme compatible with one another? Or ought Spencer to release Trina? Do you believe Spencer can give Trina the lover she deserves?
