Home And Away Spoiler: Theo’s Mistake Injures A Customer

Justin is on the phone with a very unhappy customer by the name of Claudia. She’s complaining about the fact that Theo didn’t service her car when he was supposed to. When Theo arrives, Justin gives him an earful.

On Leah’s insistence, Justin listens to Theo’s explanation – he was helping out Perri, who really needed a friend yesterday. Justin forgives Theo, but his phone rings again a few hours later. It’s Claudia again, and this time, it’s bad: the brakes on her car failed. She’s been in an accident that broke her arm – and it’s Theo’s fault. What are they going to do?

Meanwhile, Perri finds Theo in the garage later that day and asks him if he knows anything about the caravan park. After all, Perri explains, Tane’s starting a family – and it’s about time he found a place of his own.

Elsewhere, Gary watches with apprehension as Cash rushes around the house, packing the entire life he’s built at the Bay into boxes. Gary tries to reason with him: is he seriously thinking of leaving without even saying goodbye to the woman he loves? Cash, however, is having none of it. As soon as he’s sorted out all his business, he’s out of there.

Cash gets to it immediately. As the new co-owner of Salt, he sits down with Mackenzie and grills her on the ins-and-outs of Felicity’s responsibilities. Mackenzie is flustered – can’t he do this later? But Cash is insistent on doing things right.

When Xander tries to intervene in an attempt to ease the burden from Mackenzie’s shoulders, Cash reacts with anger and claims that this would be letting his sister down. He also demands to know whether Xander is telling him what to do.

Just when it looks like things are going to escalate, Gary waltzes in and witnesses the whole thing. Out of pure concern, he confronts his foster son. Gary tells Cash that he’s not disappointed in him, but he’s terrified. He saw this exact same thing happen once before: with Cash and Felicity’s dad, after their mum died – and they both know how that ended.

Gary insists that he needs to know if Cash is going to be okay, because at this rate, he can see him going down a very dark path. Cash seems to take this to heart. What kind of person is he turning into?
