‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Wedding Photos: See Callen And Anna’s Big Day

Even though there are still terrorists and other serious crimes that need to be solved by the top-notch team that makes up NCIS: Los Angeles, the show’s two-part finale, which airs on May 14 and May 21, will end on a joyful and upbeat note with Callen and Anna’s marriage (Chris O’Donnell and Bar Paly).

Parade has a first look at several photos from the nuptials, which ends up being more of a quickie wedding than the big bash that the couple have spent the season planning. Is that a courthouse where the two say their vows? That definitely isn’t any of the wedding gowns that Anna tried on.

It’s a wedding that’s been a long time in the making with Callen first learning how to trust Anna, who is Russian and has – depending on how you see it – the fortune or misfortune of having Arkady Kolcheck (Vyto Ruginis) as her father. Then Anna took an undercover assignment that made it impossible for her to return to the United States without some finagling by Hetty (Linda Hunt), and those were just a few of the bumps along the road that will finally culminate with them saying “I do.”

At the season closing party, showrunner R. Scott Gemmill told Parade that Callen and Anna are two of the characters “we try to put in a really good place.” “Calden reaches a degree of contentment in the conclusion, and I believe that’s why he asked Anna to marry him. After attempting to understand his past and make sense of it for 14 seasons, he has reached a place where he is much more focused on the present and the future. He’s in a decent place, in my opinion. Both of them are.

The two-part series finale will be spread over two Sundays with part one airing on May 14, and titled “New Beginnings.” In the first episode, the ATF seeks help from the NCIS team to investigate stolen military-grade weapons and to locate one of its agents who has gone missing. Also, Callen and Anna continue to plan their wedding, Rountree’s (Caleb Castille) sister interviews for medical school, and Sam (LL Cool J) encourages his father to take part in a drug trial.

Then, on May 21, the series wraps up with “New Beginnings, Part 2,” in which the NCIS team continues the case with the ATF and the stolen military-grade weapons. And, Callen and Anna decide on an impromptu wedding.

The first episode of “New Beginnings” will run on CBS at 10 p.m. ET/PT during its normal timeslot as NCIS: Los Angeles. The special Salute to NCIS: Los Angeles will air at 10 p.m. ET/PT, thus part two will air at 9 p.m. ET/PT instead. Both will also be accessible on Paramount+ for live and on-demand streaming.
