NCIS Season 22 Episode 1 brings back a very fractured team. Katrina Law‘s Jessica Knight’s is gone, and without her …well, it seems the team isn’t a team. But we can’t exactly have a season without a team, so it feels like the premiere is going to have to get on that, right? Right? That’s kind of your job, Parker. Parker?

Yeah, there is no Parker in these pictures, and McGee is …what is McGee doing? And where is Jimmy? How is he doing after, you know …his girlfriend left him? Also, isn’t it the height of irony that we pick up with a case that brings this team right back to Jessica? Of course, this is TV and all, but still. Ironic.

Also, who couldn’t have seen Torres going a little rogue without his team? Torres needs structure! Please someone chain that man to a desk, pronto. Don’t give him too many chances to make bad decisions, or he will.

We just need the team back together. This whole “the kids are trying new stuff out there in the world” shtick doesn’t work for us. Let it not last more than a few episodes, please.
