NCIS: Hawai’i The Complete Series, meanwhile, is a 15-disc DVD collection bursting with 54 total episodes (including four crossover installments) and two hours’ worth of special features.

NCIS: Hawai’i debuted on CBS a little over three years ago and starred Lachey, Mills, Al-Bustami, Anderson, Jason Antoon, Alex Tarrant and Kian Talan. The first two seasons spanned 22 episodes each, while the Hollywood strikes-shortened Season 3 had 10 episodes — including an unplanned series finale that was filmed long before CBS decided to cancel its sixth-most watched drama.

Reflecting on the island drama’s three-season run, co-showrunners Jan Nash, Christopher Silber and Matt Bosack told TVLIne this summer in an exclusive Q&A, “We did what we set out to do. We created a show with a strong female lead and a cast that reflected the diversity of Hawai’i and the world. We told interesting Navy crime stories. All while maintaining a workplace where people could hopefully do their best work and be valued for it. That gives us a lot to be proud of.”
