GH Spoilers: Sonny’s Darker Side Is About To Be Unleashed — Nina Will Forever Blame Michael
Spoilers for General Hospital indicate Although Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his long-estranged son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) may soon be reunited, the future of their relationship on General Hospital is still up in the air. According to rumors, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will persuade Michael to abandon his plan for retaliation.
While it may be enticing to believe that a happy ending is imminent, the truth is that the harm done between them may already have done too much damage. If Sonny finds out what Michael had planned to do to him, his rage and bitterness would eventually boil over. If that occurs, it’s possible that everyone will see the return of the real Sonny—the cruel, unyielding kingpin whom Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), his other half, will never recognize.
Michael Corinthos Might Break Ties With Revenge
Family bonds are indisputable. As he navigates the complex relationship between himself and his father, Michael is finally understanding this lesson. Michael has been adamantly anti-mob for the past year, believing that his father’s life of crime is nothing but hardship. He will start to see things differently though as he struggles with the dreadful reality of Willow’s terminal condition. Michael will come to the realization that family should always come first in the face of catastrophe. Michael is obviously battling with contradictory feelings, despite the fact that his plan to exact revenge on his father lurks in the backdrop. Will he eventually decide on love or retribution?
Leak Sonny Corinthos Learns The TrutH
The truth always comes out in the end. When Sonny realizes that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was truly working for Michael, his rage will undoubtedly flare up. Who wouldn’t be furious upon learning that all of their hard work in educating a new employee and placing their trust in them to handle company secrets resulted in lies and betrayal? However, in this case, the effects are significantly more severe. When all Sonny has been hoping for for the past year is a reconciliation with Michael, he could find himself unwilling to do so. The situation can change so abruptly that Sonny excommunicates his kid, leaving him reeling from the consequences of his own actions.
This Is All Michael Corinthos’s Fault, Right?
Despite Nina’s initial skepticism, she’ll be forced to realize maybe Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has been right all along. Watching Sonny spiral into a life of chaos and revenge driven by anger toward his own child is going to make Nina’s head spin right alongside him. As the Crimson editor is left wondering what happened to Mike-turned Sonny-turned maniacal mobster, Carly will certainly be there to remind her this is who he was all along. Will Nina cut her losses — or is it going to burn her up inside to give Carly that kind of satisfaction? Nina may have to lie to herself a bit longer to stomach hanging on to a relationship with such a brooding and vengeful man. That means she’ll have to shift the blame back to Michael and may just credit him for turning her lover into someone she doesn’t recognize.
